Roxanne is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and the founder of Join Canada. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, she settled in BC in 1992. A graduate of the University of British Columbia, she has been an RCIC since 2009 and is a member in good standing of the ICCRC.
Roxanne is frequently asked to share her knowledge and experience, delivering many Continuing Professional Development education seminars on behalf of CAPIC, IMMSeminars and IMEDA. These specialized seminars cover a wide range of Canadian immigration laws and policies including Express Entry & the Economic Classes, Family Class sponsorships, Labour Market Impact Assessments, Criminal Rehabilitation and Temporary Residence Permits.
Since 2014, Roxanne has been an Instructor and Course Lead at the University of British Columbia - Continuing Studies, teaching Canadian immigration law in the Certificate in Immigration Laws, Policies and Procedures program. She has spent countless hours volunteering by sharing her knowledge with various ex-pat community groups in Canada.
Her commitment to her clients, attention to detail and extensive knowledge of Canadian immigration laws are the reasons behind her reputation for excellent service and results.
Ning is Join Canada's senior Consultant in Alberta. Ning immigrated to Canada over 20 years ago as a skilled worker from the Philippines. She became a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant in 2011 and is a member in good standing with the ICCRC. She has successfully represented many clients from her home country and many parts of the world become temporary and permanent residents of Canada.
Prior to becoming an RCIC, Ning worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Calgary for 12 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from Far Eastern University in the Philippines. When she arrived in Canada 20 years ago, she experienced the same difficulties new immigrants face today; the challenge to have her education and experience recognized and find employment in her field. Determined to break the barrier as an internationally trained professional, she successfully challenged the Medical Laboratory licensure exam in Canada and received the license to practice in 2003.
Moved by the heart wrenching stories of workers who were victims of fraudulent agents and her passion to help them was the driving force behind her decision to make a career change. Ning's seven years of experience as an RCIC include representing clients under the Economic Class Categories (FSW, CEC, FSTP), Work Permits, Visitor Visas, Super Visas, Provincial Nominees, Caregivers, Family Sponsorship, Intra-company transferees and LMIA applications. She is also an Instructor of Canadian Immigration Law for the Immigration Consultant Diploma Course at the Academy of Learning in downtown Edmonton, Alberta since the course inception in 2017.
Julie is the newest member of the Join Canada team. A native of British Columbia, she has been a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant since 2011. Along with immigration practice, Julie has an extensive background in immigrant settlement services and career counselling. She is a member in good standing with the ICCRC and a member of the Career Professionals of Canada, holding several certifications in career counselling and development.
Julie spent 8 years living and working in Ireland and the UK, returning to Canada in 2010. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Join Canada team. She has worked with new immigrants and overseas clients for over 15 years combining years of career counselling with immigration practice. Her passion is to help individuals make their Canadian dream a reality.
In her spare time, she is a volunteer facilitator for Chimo Crisis Services, the Richmond Public Library and SOS Children’s Village Run. Julie is also bilingual in English and French.
The care and commitment she gives to all of Join Canada’s clientele is second-to-none and just another reason why Join Canada is a leading provider of Canadian immigration services.
