    Canadian Experience Class

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has created a new Economic Class aimed at allowing temporary foreign workers with skilled work experience in Canada, as well as international students who have graduated from a Canadian institution.

The Canadian Experience Class allows those with qualifying Canadian work experience and/or Canadian education credentials to apply for permanent residence.
There are minimum requirements to qualify for the Canadian Experience Class.

    These include:

    • You must plan to live outside of the province of Quebec.
    • You must be either:
    • A temporary foreign worker with at least two years of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work experience in Canada, or
    • A foreign graduate from a Canadian post-secondary institution with at least one-year of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work experience in Canada

Other factors to be assessed are your language ability in either English or French as well as careful assessment that the work you performed is classified as “Skilled” in relation to Canadian Labour Market Information.

Contact Join Canada for a complete assessment of your eligibility to apply for the Canadian Experience Class.
